Four senior engineering students design and build an enhanced prototype joystick for client with cerebral palsy.

During the 2023-24 academic year, four senior ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ engineering students combined their skills to build a prototype joystick for a client with cerebral palsy. Mechanical Engineering majors Tanner Buckelew, Helena Robinson, and Sebastian Mowbray teamed up with Interdisciplinary Engineering major Andrew Wade for this successful project.

Following a nationally competitive application process, ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ student Ahmed Mohammad is one of 15 individuals selected by the U.S. Department of State for the Foreign Affairs Information Technology Fellowship 2024 cohort.

A group of four freshly graduated ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ alumni finalized their educational journey by presenting their capstone project, an aircraft pressure sensor testing apparatus, to Collins Aerospace on April 25.

Alan DeForest ’75, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ, proudly announces the unanimous decision to elect Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired), as the University’s 25th president on April 19, 2024. LtGen Broadmeadow will officially transition from his Board of Trustees position to the presidential office on May 1, 2024, which will mark the first time in more than three decades that a ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ alumnus will lead the school as its president.

GET IN THE GAME – School of Nursing, football, and volleyball team up for a great cause

The on-campus event was a complete success, with over 250 ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ students adding their names to the National Marrow Donor Program registry to become potential donors.

The powerhouse design team consists of Construction Management majors Jason Stapleford and John O’Neil, Civil Engineering majors Will Sabo and Wyatt Beatini, as well as advisors Dr. Moses Tefe of the ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ David Crawford School of Engineering and Seth Knihtila ’12.
