�Ļ�Ӱ�� is honored to announce United States Army Brigadier General Shane P. Morgan as the ROTC Joint Commissioning Ceremony speaker for the graduating Class of 2025.

AWS executives and team members will be actively participating in the evaluation process of the AWS Challenge this year, offering their insights in this essential domain. A total of 14 student teams will get an opportunity to participate in this innovation challenge.

Dr. Karen Gaines, �Ļ�Ӱ�� Provost and Dean of the Faculty, announces the selection of Dr. Marvin Lutnesky as the new Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.

�Ļ�Ӱ��’s 6th Peace and War Summit, titled: Latin America in the 21st Century: Retreat or Progress?, will host Ambassador (retired) Patrick Duddy as one of the keynote speakers during the March 17 – 18 event.

This year’s summit, Latin America in the 21st Century: Retreat or Progress?, will be held March 17 and 18 on campus at �Ļ�Ӱ��.

BG William F. McCollough, VSM, Commandant and Vice President for Student Affairs, �Ļ�Ӱ�� Class of 1991, has announced that Cadet First Sergeant Matthew S. Ober '26 will serve as the Regimental Commander for the academic year 2025-26. This position is the highest rank among cadets in the Corps.

During its winter board meeting on February 2, 2025, �Ļ�Ӱ��’s Board of Trustees unanimously elected Mr. Alfred J. “Al” Gobeille ’86 as the next Chair of the Board of Trustees. He will succeed the incumbent Chair, Mr. Alan DeForest ’75, who has served in the role for the past nine years, at the conclusion of his tenure in April.

C/CSM Thoren Berg ’25 has been selected by the Association of Military Colleges & Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) as the recipient of the Leadership Award and a $1,000 scholarship. A combination of his character and service alongside his academic and athletic performances led to this honor.

Thanks to the generous $2,000,000 continuing grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), �Ļ�Ӱ�� will help to remove the financial barriers often limiting academic opportunities for highly qualified undergraduates interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

While on campus, he was honored by conducting a ceremonial puck drop during the men’s hockey intrastate rivalry game between the �Ļ�Ӱ�� Cadets and visiting Vermont State University – Castleton Spartans.
