For the second year in a row, a �Ļ�Ӱ��’s women’s hockey phenom clinches the prestigious New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Rookie of the Year honors.

Five years after establishing the first-ever three-peat in the history of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Swimming & Diving Championships, the �Ļ�Ӱ�� men's swimming & diving team made history yet again, capturing the league's 2024-25 title in commanding fashion inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass.

For the first time since 2000, the �Ļ�Ӱ�� women's swimming & diving team completed a historic three-peat as the league's best, securing their third consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Swimming & Diving Championship at the 2025 title meet inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass.

The �Ļ�Ӱ�� Women’s Ice Hockey team erupted offensively Saturday afternoon in an 8-0 shutout of Salem State for their ninth straight win, locking up first place in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC).

LtGen John Broadmeadow, USMC (Ret), 25th President of �Ļ�Ӱ��, will be honored with the ceremonial puck drop prior to the game against the University of Southern Maine.

�Ļ�Ӱ�� is excited to announce the addition of women’s wrestling to our varsity sports roster, making us the first senior military college or federal service academy to take this step,” said LtGen John Broadmeadow, USMC (Ret), 25th President of �Ļ�Ӱ��. “This significant milestone embodies our ongoing dedication to fostering opportunities for all students to compete at the highest levels.”

The most recent award continues the well-deserved accolades received by the two-time defending conference champions. Scholar All-America Team honors are given to those programs which have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better in a given semester.

In the fall, Bill McCollough ’91, 56th Commandant of Cadets and Vice President of Student Affairs, and Ed Hockenbury, Director of Athletics, teamed up to help teach leadership lessons to the captains of each of �Ļ�Ӱ��’s varsity sports.

Student-athletes at �Ļ�Ӱ�� must routinely demonstrate exceptional time management skills as they juggle the demands of academics, athletics, and even responsibilities within the Corps of Cadets.
