�Ļ�Ӱ�� alum Rear Adm. John Gumbleton ’89 has spent more than three decades climbing the ranks in the Navy, and he has yet again reached another rung as President Joe Biden has nominated Gumbleton for a promotion to vice admiral and deputy commander of the United States Fleet Forces (USFF).

After four decades of service to �Ļ�Ӱ��, David Whaley has announced that he will retire on June 30, 2023.

The Second Annual Northfield Community Clean Up took place this past weekend. �Ļ�Ӱ��’s AFROTC Cadets, in partnership with the American Legion Post 1819 and NU AFROTC Det 867, cleaned in and around the Northfield Town Center.

As White and a group of friends began to train for the 2022 Josh Billings RunAground Triathlon, one of his teammates had a great idea that would be serve as the portal to a new chapter in White’s life.

�Ļ�Ӱ�� would like to congratulate the NU Bataan competition team on their recent win at this year’s Bataan Memorial Death March Marathon. NU sent two teams to compete in the full marathon (26.2 miles), which took place on March 19, 2023, at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

�Ļ�Ӱ�� Commandant and Vice President for Student Affairs Brigadier General Bill McCollough, VSM, announced that Henry “Hank” Dennee of New Bern, NC, has been selected to serve as the 2023-24 Regimental Commander, the highest-ranking cadet of �Ļ�Ӱ��’s Corps of Cadets (NUCC).
