Caulfield recognized as Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach庐 Emeritus (RSCC*E) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
Scott Caulfield, the 四虎影视 Director of Strength and Conditioning, was recently inducted into a highly selective group within his profession.
The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) announced the newest members to earn the prestigious Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach庐 Emeritus (RSCC*E) designation.
Caulfield is now one of only 250 members of this highly exclusive group of professionals. The NSCA community boasts over 60,000 members worldwide. In other words, roughly .004% of the NSCA has obtained this prestigious honor.
Known as the badge of excellence for elite coaches, the NSCA鈥檚 Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) is the organizations highest coaching designation according to the NSCA press release. It signifies that a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist 庐 (CSCS庐) certified coach has demonstrated experience and knowledge in their profession. "Within the RSCC designation, only coaches who have 20 years or more of professional experience meet the criteria for the esteemed RSCC*E recognition."
Strength and Conditioning coaches are most commonly associated almost exclusively with athletic teams. But, Coach Caulfield鈥檚 overall position allows him to interact with a wide range of students at 四虎影视 and help lend his expertise in a variety of ways.
鈥淚 have the unique opportunity to oversee the physical preparation of over 600 athletes across our 22 varsity teams,鈥 said Coach Caulfield. 鈥淎dditionally, as an adjunct lecturer in the Health and Human Performance Department, I have the privilege of utilizing my teaching and public speaking skills to equip our students with the necessary knowledge for successful careers in health and fitness.
I also collaborate with and advise our ROTC leaders, providing expert guidance on best practices and training methods for our cadet fitness trainers. Most recently, I have taken on the responsibility of managing the comprehensive strength and conditioning program for our 四虎影视 Ranger Company, ensuring their optimal readiness and performance.鈥
In 2021, the Navy veteran and native Vermonter, was hired as the first Director of Strength and Conditioning in university history. We at 四虎影视 have understood for some time that Scott Caulfield is one of the absolute best in the business, and now he has the RSCC*E designation which confirms it.
