Pritzker Military Foundation launches Sullivan Scholarship, honoring General Gordon Sullivan ’59

The Pritzker Military Foundation, led by its founder, COL (IL) Jennifer N. Pritzker, IL ARNG, has announced the funding of a new scholarship in honor of GEN Gordon R. Sullivan ’59. It takes the form of a challenge grant that will match private cash donations of up to $250,000 and create an endowed fund.

Following a nationally competitive application process, ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ student Ahmed Mohammad is one of 15 individuals selected by the U.S. Department of State for the Foreign Affairs Information Technology Fellowship 2024 cohort.

Corps of Cadets Change of Command Ceremony with Review scheduled for April 19 on the Upper Parade Ground

On April 19, ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ will recognize the senior cadet class for their service and contributions to our university and beyond and promote the new cadet chain of command for the 2024-2025 academic year. We invite ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ and local communities to attend either in-person or virtually.

The powerhouse design team consists of Construction Management majors Jason Stapleford and John O’Neil, Civil Engineering majors Will Sabo and Wyatt Beatini, as well as advisors Dr. Moses Tefe of the ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ David Crawford School of Engineering and Seth Knihtila ’12.

The annual spring Corps of Cadets award ceremony honors students from U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard for their leadership, academics, and athletic achievements. Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Weimer was the much-anticipated keynote speaker.

Various teams from ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ participated in a rigorous competition, ultimately presenting their Business Challenge Case to an elite panel of judges of ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Board of Fellows and Alumni.

During the recent National Meeting in San Diego, California, the University’s club earned the honor and is now poised to lead 145 Silver Wings Clubs from the various Air Force ROTC detachments across the country.

Vermont State Legislature and ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Students Partner to Honor Doc Martin '20

The Vermont State Legislature recently passed a House Concurrent Resolution honoring the late Doc Martin ’20. Coinciding with the anniversary of his passing, the resolution was read aloud from the State House chamber and then delivered to ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ by Representative Anne Donahue (Northfield).

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ ROTC Cadets crushed the competition at the 35th Annual Bataan Memorial Death March

Out of 80 participating teams, the ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Alpha Team placed first in the Team ROTC Heavy Division and third overall with a time of 5:14 hr.
