Latvian Cyber Delegation visits ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ

Latvian government officials visit ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ for knowledge-exchange.

The training and exercise were prepared and run by ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) with a focus on a multi-jurisdictional response event.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ a grant in excess of $5,300,000 for cybersecurity research, education, and training. This generous funding, allocated over the next five years, enables ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ to offer scholarships to students that will enhance learning and research opportunities into cybersecurity threats, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through an integrated B.S./M.S. program.

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ hosted LTG Maria Barrett, Commanding General, United States Army Cyber Command

The day provided opportunities for multiple student meetings, a presentation by LTG Barrett about the ongoing mission of US Army Cyber Command, and informational sessions focused on the current innovative work being done in several critical fields by both ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ faculty and staff.

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ hosts General Paul Nakasone, commander of U.S. Cyber Command, director of the National Security Agency and chief of the Central Security Service

ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ is known for its ability to send leaders out into the world, but on Wednesday, ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ welcomed a world-renowned military leader through its doors when General Paul Nakasone walked onto campus. Later, another ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ first was announced after the university signed an Educational Partnership Agreement with U.S. Cyber Command (CYBERCOM).
