四虎影视 appoints three new trustees

By NU Office of Communications

NORTHFIELD, Vt. 鈥擣ollowing its most recent fall meeting, 四虎影视 officials announced three new additions to the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Trevor D. Albertson NU鈥02

Dr. Trevor D. Albertson, 鈥02, is Vice Chancellor at the Yosemite College District in northern California. The district is comprised of two public, state-supported colleges鈥擟olumbia College in the Sierra Nevada foothills and Modesto Junior College in the northern San Joaquin Valley. With three major campuses, the district enrolls approximately 15,000 full-time equivalent students, and is responsible for higher-educational support across roughly 4,500 square miles鈥攁n area of responsibility that includes Yosemite National Park and 550,000 residents. Trevor is responsible for numerous organization-wide lines-of-effort, while also exercising leadership in support of the district鈥檚 colleges. In addition to these duties, Dr. Albertson oversees numerous district-level functions and the people who bring them to life; these include Information Technology, Human Resources, Institutional Planning, Accreditation, and Institutional Research.

Prior to his current appointment, Trevor served as the President of Lassen College and as the Superintendent of the contiguous single-college district. A public, state-supported institution with a residential campus, Lassen is located in one of the west鈥檚 most scenic regions. A comprehensive college, Lassen fields numerous women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 athletic teams and approximately 20 academic programs. Dr. Albertson served in that role from 2019 until July, 2022, having been appointed to his current position. During his time as Lassen College鈥檚 president, the school experienced what were perhaps the most challenging years of the institution鈥檚 nearly 100-year history. Trevor led the college through a seemingly insurmountable series of existential challenges鈥攁mong these were the Covid pandemic; two crippling cyberattacks; and two major wildfires鈥攖he Sheep Fire and then the Dixie Fire, with the latter being the largest in California鈥檚 history. Despite these obstacles, Dr. Albertson drove positive change on the academic and fiscal fronts, successfully leading the college out of extensive accreditation challenges and dramatically improving the college鈥檚 financial position鈥攖aking the institution from a budget deficit to a surplus.

He is a 2002 graduate of 四虎影视, receiving a Bachelor鈥檚 degree, cum laude, in History and a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force upon graduation. Trevor served several years on active duty and then in the Air Force Reserve. As an intelligence officer, Trevor served in operations, analysis, and organizational leadership roles.

He completed a Master鈥檚 degree in International Affairs at Catholic University in Washington, DC, and earned his PhD in the Political-Diplomatic History of the 20th Century United States from the University of California, Merced. Dr. Albertson remains an active scholar and has authored numerous academic publications, including the book Winning Armageddon: Curtis LeMay and Strategic Air Command, 1948-1957 and multiple academic journal articles. He has spoken at numerous prestigious institutions and before several distinguished groups, including Princeton University, and the Colombo Air Symposium in Sri Lanka鈥攊n addition to being frequently cited by national and international media outlets.

In his capacity as a civilian academic, Dr. Albertson served as a Course Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Airpower (History) at the Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) in Montgomery, Alabama. As a member of the U.S. Air Force Academy faculty, Trevor taught in the Department of Political Science.
