Are you ready for our 25th?
I can’t wait to see everyone back on the Hill for our 25th reunion. If you’ve been back for previous reunions, I look forward to seeing you again. And if you’ve never been to a Homecoming Weekend, don’t worry… your classmates will help you through it, just like Rookdom.
The reunion planning committee is working to make our class gathering informal and affordable so as many as possible will participate. Our Saturday night dinner will be at American Flatbread in Stowe so I encourage you to make your lodging reservations now. While our main goal is to just gather and have a good time catching up with each other, there are three goals we’re aiming for: attendance, fundraising participation, and launching a new tradition.
The “25 for our 25thâ€
Homecoming Weekend Attendance Goal: 25 classmates attending Homecoming Weekend! Yes, it’s a low goal but historically reunion attendance has been low. Let’s fly past that!
Fundraising Goal: 25% percent participation! This would be 11% more than the number of classmates that historically participate in fundraising efforts. If you received a scholarship, consider paying it forward to another student by contributing to the scholarship fund you received. Or donate to the ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ Fund. Expect to hear more from our Fundraising Committee about how you can help us reach this goal.
A New Tradition for the Class of 2000: Our class is known for starting new things and taking life in a different direction… This year we will encourage our spouses, partners, and children to join our class celebrations including our march during the Alumni Parade. Let our class be the one whose numbers grow as our descendants join us year after year.
Even when one of us departs this earth, our families can help carry our class guidon with our friends, brothers, and sisters. That way many decades from now, when the last of the Class of 2000 marches across the field, they will not walk alone, but will be surrounded by a family we, the Class of 2000, intentionally built.

Alumni Awards
A highlight of Homecoming Weekend is the recognition of alumni who have made significant contributions to ËÄ»¢Ó°ÊÓ, their community and their profession. Homecoming 2025 will honor distinguished alumni with the annual NUAA Awards, NU2NU Award, and induction into the NU Athletics Hall of Fame.
