Leadership camps - Challenge Weekend

For current high school students, grades nine through 12

Leadership Challenge Weekend is aimed at students interested in advancing their leadership skills through a cadet lifestyle program. Students will develop leadership skills, gain insight on teamwork and learn to identify communication barriers. These events also teach participants about life at senior military colleges and encourage students to apply for ROTC scholarships to offset the costs of their college degree and to prepare them for a career in the military.

Activities will include the indoor climbing wall, leadership reaction course, water survival training, a physical fitness test, drill and ceremonies and other outdoor/indoor activities.

Each session is capped at 100 participants and registration will CLOSE when the limit is reached. Register early to assure a spot.

Registration fee (nonrefundable): $100 due at registration and covers lodging, meals, a sweatshirt, and a t-shirt. Participants will be sleeping in their sleeping bag on a sleeping mat, with meals in the university dining facility. A parent brief and graduation ceremony is held on Sunday morning.
